Retired from law enforcement Stubby spent years serving his community as a dedicated police officer with the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office. Having always shared a special bond with Daxton, Stubby is proud to serve as the Treasurer for Daxton’s Heart Warriors, where he is dedicated to supporting, guiding, and helping kids just like him.

The heart of our events, keeping everything running with care and dedication. She and her husband, Chuck, have four children, and supporting others comes naturally to her. When Mitzi first heard Daxton’s story, she didn’t hesitate, she immediately stepped in to help Daxton’s Heart Warriors.
